Virtual Open House
From the principals office:
Welcome back to Sparta Lincoln School.
We are all very excited to have kids back learning with us in person and remotely. Attached are our guidelines for remote learners. If you selected this learning option, please read through the document. Wednesday from 8:30-3:20 is pick up for Chromebooks and IPADs for all remote learners. When picking up your items, please enter through the main office doors. Please wear a mask and stop and check your temperature. Please know your child’s homeroom teacher’s name. A Sparta Lincoln Staff member will provide you with your child’s technology device. All adults picking up devices will be required to sign the attached document stating that you understand the expectations of remote learning.
School officially begins August 12th with a 2pm dismissal. All students that chose the in person learning option will report to school. Bus students will enter through bus doors at the southwest side of the school, 4th-8th grade students will enter through gym doors, and K-3 students will enter through the northeast side of the building. All students must wear a mask and all students will have their temperature taken upon arrival. Students may pick up breakfast and proceed to their homeroom. If students are not eating breakfast, they will immediately go to their homeroom. No parents or guardians will be permitted into the school. School staff will be present to walk students to classrooms.
If you have not registered your child for in person or remote learning, please do so as soon as possible. Online registration is available through Teacherease.
If you have further questions or concerns, please contact the Sparta Lincoln office.
We are going to have a great school year.
Snapshots of SLS:
Sparta #140 Families,
To accommodate the number of remote learners in the district, we have made the decision to remote learn for ALL students on Wednesdays to allow for time for teacher planning and added disinfecting. M, Tu, Th, and F will remain full day instructional days for those who registered for in person learning. Remote learners will receive the Remote Learning Plan guidance individually while we remain in Phase 4. If we are forced into Phase 3 with full remote learning for ALL, that plan will be pushed out district wide. We apologize for any inconvenience. Again, this could all change tomorrow!
